During the Reno Meetings the ACBL Board proposed an adjustment to the ranks below Life Master. The requirements for ranks up to Life Master are modified as indicated in the table.

I believe the most descriptive analysis of the changes are that you can no longer become a Club Master without playing in a club!

These requirements apply to members who joined or re-joined January 1, 2010 or later. They are thus retroactive to January 1.

These do not apply to those who were members before January 1, 2010, and have maintained their membership continuously.
